Stanley Kubrick (/ˈkuːbrɪk/ July 26, 1928 - March 7, 1999) was an American movie director, producer, screenwriter, and photographer. His mother and father married in a Jewish ceremony, but Kubrick did not have a religious upbringing and later professed an atheistic watch of the universe. New York Homeopathic Medical College in 1927, the exact year he married Kubrick's mother, the baby of Austrian-Jewish immigrants.
