Highlighting a 2017 Association for Psychological Science report that said usage of character-themed words and phrases is declining in well known tradition, conservation scientist Jeff Opperman opined in The New York Times that Swift's tracks are "loaded with the language and photographs of the purely natural environment", bringing back again nature into contemporary tradition.
