In a report done in 2013, the International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association (ILGA) indicated that homosexuality is nevertheless criminalized in some sort in 76 states, with a large focus of these states in the Middle East, Africa, and elements of Asia.
