New Taipei consists of natural surroundings like Yangmingshan National Park. Seeing the canyon by plane is a flight you'll never forget. I recommend doing the South Rim for tourists starting from Phoenix and Sedona. Make sure to check the extra cost of traveling from Manhattan to Newark, NJ (EWR). The stones fit so completely together that in some parts a knife blade can't fit in between them.
