New Taipei consists of natural landscapes like Yangmingshan National forest. Seeing the canyon by aircraft is a flight you'll never forget. I recommend doing the South Rim for travelers beginning from Phoenix and Sedona. Make sure to examine the additional expense of traveling from Manhattan to Newark, NJ (EWR). The stones fit so completely together that in some parts a knife blade can't fit in between them.
