Up till that point, the bellyachers of the environment being damaged were probably believed to be some outsider intent on ruining deep space through whipping the earth out. The only characters that terrified him were Lilo and Stitch, due to the fact that he had never viewed them on television. (And personally, I think they're kind of scary anyhow)! Simply a couple of miles west of Gulf Shores, it has a more historical feel.
