The age of consent was set at 11 in 1832 and at thirteen in 1863. In 1942, the age of consent for homosexual acts was set at 21, when for heterosexual functions it was nonetheless 13. The latter was increased to fifteen in 1945. In 1974, the age for homosexual acts was reduced to eighteen. In 1982, it was additional decreased to 15, in line with that for heterosexual acts.
