NAMBLA is one of the oldest gay legal rights groups currently working, and was started in response to an explicitly anti-homosexual witch hunt versus a group of adult males and primarily teenaged boys who refused to file complaints towards their lovers and resented the destructive intrusion of homophobic law enforcement and media into their lives.
