The Vietnam War, and the protracted countrywide divide amongst supporters and opponents of the war, were being arguably the most significant things contributing to the increase of the larger counterculture movement. US city, and elsewhere across the Western globe, effectively united millions against the war, and in opposition to the war policy that prevailed beneath 5 US congresses and for the duration of two presidential administrations.
