In 2012, social psychologists Benjamin Karney, Harry Reis, and other people released an evaluation of on the internet relationship in Psychological Science in the Public Interest that concluded that the matching algorithms of on the net relationship solutions are only negligibly improved at matching individuals than if they were being matched at random.
