Michele Clapton was the costume designer for Game of Thrones' to start with 5 seasons prior to she was replaced by April Ferry. Clapton returned to the series as its costume designer for the seventh period. HBO introduced in June 2016 that the eighth period would be the remaining for the series. Following the sequence finale, HBO announced in April 2019 a new exhibition and vacationer attraction that contains display props and set items.
