Portland's downtown attributes two groups of contiguous city blocks focused for park space: the North and South Park Blocks. The 37-acre (15 ha) Tom McCall Waterfront Park was crafted in 1974 along the size of the downtown waterfront following Harbor Drive was taken out it now hosts huge activities in the course of the year.
