Jackson & Fox submitted strategies for alterations to the home. In 1847, the Hall was leased to Robert Parker, and he bought it in 1853. After his death in 1856, he handed the Hall and other home to Thomas Edmundson Parker. The assets is revealed - but not named - on later maps. In this fashion was idolatry put down, and the castle from that day onwards was named the Castle of St. Angelo.
