On September 28, 2007, Italian politician Franco Grillini elevated a parliamentary issue with the minister of cultural resources and actions about the requirement of flexibility of panorama. He said that the deficiency of such liberty forced Wikipedia, "the seventh most consulted internet site", to forbid all images of contemporary Italian buildings and artwork, and claimed this was vastly detrimental to tourist revenues.
