Talking about mom things isn’t meant to be this show’s solid accommodate, but if it was really likely to lay into judgy supermom varieties, much more specificity would have taken this from fantastic to excellent. Greg and Rebecca’s major reunion range feels like it was ripped straight from someone’s NYU master’s-thesis musical about present-day relationship, and not in a very good way.
