The Philippine eagle is element of the relatives Accipitridae and is endemic to the rainforests of Luzon, Samar, Leyte, and Mindanao. Former Davao City mayor Rodrigo Duterte won the 2016 presidential election, turning out to be the initially president from Mindanao.
