Up until that point, the bellyachers of the environment being harmed were most likely believed to be some outsider intent on ruining the universe through thrashing the earth out. The only characters that scared him were Lilo and Stitch, because he had never ever viewed them on TV. (And personally, I believe they're type of frightening anyway)! Simply a couple of miles west of Gulf Shores, it has a more historical feel.
