Dementia, electronic health records, heterogeneity, patient subtypes, interpretability, disease progression. Unsupervised cluster analysis on a dementia clinic population using the Clinical Dementia Rating (CDR) component scores uncovered subtypes with different risk of dementia progression. Longitudinal data from 1,845 patients with 2,747 visits were eligible for inclusion, where each visit recorded a Global Clinical Dementia Rating (CDR) score.
