I've always found Duras's opinions and views on composing instructive (see her fantastic fragmentary book Writing for instance). Having shed a lot of fascination in writing more than the earlier pair of many years, I obtain myself much more objective these days and see that my former views on the many books churned out each and every calendar year were being mainly ideal.
