The series is loosely primarily based on the true tale of the Durrells in a trilogy published by Louisa’s youngest son Gerry (portrayed in the series by Milo Parker). The Durrells in Corfu just completed its fourth and ultimate year in the U.S., exactly where we say goodbye to this English relatives living in Greece in the 1930s, just right before the dawn of a new war.
