On sixteen July 390 BC, a Gallic army under the management of tribal chieftain Brennus, satisfied the Romans on the banking companies of the Allia River ten miles north of Rome. The city of Rome grew from settlements all-around a ford on the river Tiber, a crossroads of traffic and trade. This brought about a dilemma, in that Rome came to have a massive male populace but was bereft of gals.
