Subverted when Ryan O'Reilly tells his Catholic priest cellmate that he was molested by a priest as a child. The trope was both subverted and exploited in "Glued", when the staff was investigating the dying of an 8-calendar year-aged boy in a Catholic community and realized that the killer had confessed the murder to a priest. This priest also turned himself in to the police and confessed.
