Earplugs - These are low-cost and fantastic for light sleepers like myself. This is not always a terrific idea because overland journeys are far more rewarding than internal flights as you can break the journey up and visit to see great deals of different things. If you start to lose your muse for writing, or strike the wall, it might be time for a modification of speed.
