Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain is about a woman making an attempt to make her neighbors' life far better by taking a back garden gnome from one of them and having photos of it vacationing all over the earth, tricking an abusive greengrocer into thinking he is crazy, and escorting a blind male to a educate station supplying him vivid descriptions of the environment.
