Although the advent of film as an creative medium is not clearly described, the business, community screening of 10 of the Lumière brothers' shorter movies in Paris on 28 December 1895 can be regarded as the breakthrough of projected cinematographic movement images. The screening consisted of 10 films and lasted roughly twenty minutes.
