Although the introduction of film as an creative medium is not clearly described, the business, public screening of 10 of the Lumière brothers' short movies in Paris on 28 December 1895 can be regarded as the breakthrough of projected cinematographic motion shots. The screening consisted of ten movies and lasted around 20 minutes.
