Nexium (Esomeprazole) is an anti-ulcer medication used to prevent and treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), also known as acid reflux. Stop taking this drug and call your doctor if you have trouble swallowing, or if you experience any change in your tolerance to Nexium.
