Sherman received into Ramana Maharshi in prison. He has subsequently used the earlier ten years ridding himself of 'spiritual' language to current a pared-down and uncomplicated follow he calls 'looking at yourself', which evolved out of Sherman's individual observe of self-enquiry (atma-vichara), as taught by Ramana Maharshi.
