A surprising quantity of blood was left in. Beast Wars managed to get away with a fair total. Even so, a great deal of creators get away with displaying nearly (or even straight-up) uncensored genitalia, specifically in doujinshi circles, generally by slender black bars that scarcely protect just about anything, or gentle mosaic pixellation, underneath the pretense that they are abiding by the regulation by doing the bare minimum amount.
