The 62nd Annual Grammy Awards went forward as scheduled at the Staples Center on the day of the crash, but provided tributes by several artists and groups, which include host Alicia Keys opening the clearly show with a tribute speech in which she termed Staples Center "the dwelling that Kobe Bryant constructed" and joining Boyz II Men to sing "It's So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday".
