The movie was shot on site in New Mexico. Parker edited the film all through principal images, but was not on locale. one Principal photography concluded in November 2012, immediately after forty two days of filming. Production moved to Chilili, New Mexico for two weeks of filming. In the film, the 4-guy SEAL reconnaissance staff is found by 3 goat herders-an aged man and two teenage boys.
