Michele Clapton was the costume designer for Game of Thrones' 1st 5 seasons right before she was replaced by April Ferry. Clapton returned to the series as its costume designer for the seventh year. HBO announced in June 2016 that the eighth period would be the last for the sequence. Following the collection finale, HBO announced in April 2019 a new exhibition and vacationer attraction containing show props and established pieces.
