Camp commandant Weiss admitted in affidavit testimony that most of the fatalities at Dachau for the duration of his administration were due to "typhus, TB, dysentery, pneumonia, pleurisy, and overall body weak point brought about by deficiency of food." His testimony also admitted to fatalities by shootings, hangings and clinical experiments.
